Opifex (formerly Cult of Destruction) was a Latvian progressive death metal band from Rīga, Latvia, active from 2005 to 2015. The band's name is a Latin word meaning Artisan or Manufacturer and referring to "a worker who created something." The final lineup: Artūrs Ročāns (Sxima) - vocals; Jurģis Ozols (Druun) - guitars; Armands Zalcmanis (Dehead, Grunts, Varkals) - guitars; Matīss Bremšs - bass; Edvards Percevs (Pamirt) - drums.
