About Operation Makeout
Originally formed in May of 1999, Operation Makeout’s current line-up features Katie on guitar and vocals (formerly of Molly and Rescue Annie) Jesse on bass and vocals (formerly of dbs and The New Fever), and Anna on drums (formerly of Molly and Welcome to Beatsville). Since forming they have had the opportunity to open for such fine acts as The Need, The Weakerthans, and Mirah. Following the independent release of their first self-titled CD in the summer of 2000, they completed a two week westcoast tour with Victoria's Intrepid Shapiro.
