About One Step Back
One Step Back was a Pensacola, FL based new-school punk band that was formed in the Fall of 1997 by Charlie, Ben, and Scott. Originally, it was going to be a super fast, old-school punk band playing one minute songs to have fun and get crowds charged up. As they were writing, however, they found that their songs began coming out with a new-school sound combined with intricate guitar work, therefore they pursued that style. After many songs were written, their style became defined as "New-school, Melodic, Pop-Punk, with a Metal edge".
