About one candle power
One Candle Power emerged as a four-piece indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec in May 2001. Motivated by personal catharsis, live performance, seeing new cities and meeting new people, they have since then become a hard working institution. Chrissy Musacchio has been a singer/songwriter in the Montreal music scene since the age of 14. After playing in a mix of punk and rock n' roll bands for 7 years, Musacchio felt the urge to embrace a more delicate and stripped down sound.
