About One Alternative
It began a number of years ago when an oboist and two guitarists decided to compose and perform their own music. They wanted their sound to be an alternative to other acoustic ensembles by exploring many musical styles yet maintaining an inspired and distinct voice; thus was the inception of ONE ALTERNATIVE. The members of ONE ALTERNATIVE are Jill Haley on oboe/English horn plus two guitarists, Mark Oppenlander and David Bozenhard. Rather than having its music labeled by others, One Alternative describes its music as an "acoustic fusion”.
