About OK To Ship
OK To Ship was a pop-punk/rock band from the Troy, Michigan area. School classmates and life-long friends, Kevin Portelli (guitar/vocals), Samer El-Awad (guitar), Josh Waldorf (bass) and Tommy Monti (drums) formed the band early in their high school careers. A few years and many demos later they have independently released their debut full-length "cool|quiet|calm." Due to creative and personal differences, the band parted ways in 2007. Tommy, Josh, and Samer went on to form the band Bellweather while Kevin is now a part of Aquatic Zoom.
