About Of The Monarchs
Of The Monarchs is a Post-Rock band from Beverly, Massachusetts. Formed in late summer of 2011 by guitarist Kyle Loffredo, bassist Ryan Forsyth, and drummer Justin Nigrelli, the band originally set out for an alternative rock sound, but that changed quickly and they enlisted Kody Selvo as a second guitarist. The band began to write music that was ambient but powerful, much like the style of another Beverly, MA Post-Rock band, Caspian, with whom the band greatly identifies.
