About Oceans and Vessels
Oceans and Vessels started out by filling a need in their church’s youth group in upstate New York. With no formal name and no songs of their own, they were simply leading worship on a weekly basis in their church’s youth service. In 2008 they went from being a youth worship team to a full-fledged, ministry-oriented, indie worship band. With influences by such bands as The Glorious Unseen, Leeland, Mae, and Anberlin they started to write their own songs and incorporate them into their church’s worship services.
