Nuno Canavarro (born 1962) is a Portuguese composer who is known for his influential experimental recording: "Plux Quba - Música para 70 Serpentes" released on the Portuguese label Ama Romanta in 1988, originally limited to 200 vinyl only pressings. This record was a strong influence on the sound of many postmodern electronic musicians, including Mouse On Mars and Jim O'Rourke
