Hard hitting rock and roll from the edge of America… Number One Contender formed in early 2005 from the strongest members of several of the southeast’s most promising unsigned acts. The early weeks of this union were spent stripping everything down to find the essence that would become the NOC sound. The members agreed it was time to bring back rock. Leaving everything from their previous bands behind, each member pushed, challenged and inspired the others to a new level of playing and musicianship.
