About Nuevo Quinteto Real
The Nuevo Quinteto Real is the direct descendent of the original Quinteto Real. Like that group, it's aim is simple: to make instrumental tangos designed for listening rather than dancing in which the solos of its instrumentalists can shine. The group is made up of: Horacio Salgán, piano; Ubaldo De Lío, guitar; Nestor Marconi, bandoneón; Oscar Giunta, double bass; Hermes Peressini, violin; With musicians such as these you don't need me to tell you that the playing is of the very highest quality.
