Notions is a four-piece nu-metalcore band hailing from Austin, Texas that formed late 2017. The band strives on blending rhythm and flow of rap and R&B music along with the intensity of modern metal, taking influence from turn-of-the-century classics, such as Slipknot and Korn, as well as newer acts Erra, Fire From the Gods, and many more. The band consists of vocalist Kalan Beal, guitarist Nick Hyatt, bassist Koda Pratt, and drummer Thomas Scheltema.
