The Not Moving were born in the early eighties, inspired by Cramps, X, Gun Club and influenced by the 60's psychedelia (13 Floor Elevator, Seed), as well as by the New York surf and punk scene (Patti Smith, Dead Boys, Real Kids); they set the European stages on fire with songs like "Baron Samedì", "Catman", "Psycho Ghoul". They supported The Clash, in June they performed in Berlin with Litfiba and Pankow; they played in the three Italian shows of the ex New York Dolls Johnny Thunders, besides some long and exhausting tours in Europe and Italy.
