
North and South were a mildly successful boyband comprising of Lee Otter (vocals), James Hurst (guitar/vocals), Tom Lowe (saxophone/keyboard/vocals) and Sam Chapman (keyboards) who were active between 1997 and 1998. They were the stars of the Children's BBC comedy drama series "No Sweat" (which ran for two series on the BBC's analogue channels) and were formed by Tom Watkins, manager of East 17 and Pet Shop Boys, in 1996. They scored a string of top 40 hits
