
Norma binti Abdullah is a daughter of Estefanus Louis Sumampouw and Suzanna Mathilde Huwaè. Her birth name is Edith Sumampouw, a name before she converted to Islam at the age of 18. She is more well-known as Normadiah, an alternative stage name of Norma, suggested by A. R. Tompel. She was an actress for Malay film, born on 14th August 1932 in Manado, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia. She was not just able to act, but she also could sing. She was one of the Malay film generation based in Singapore.
