nockFORCE is a two-man collaboration launched with four hilarious songs on a MySpace page in early 2007. Afterwards, the “Quickies” became a weekly project. Four more songs were released in fall 2007. effnocka and FUCKFORCE are the rap personae of animator Ian Jones-Quartey and audio specialist Jim Gisriel. Jim Gisriel is nockFORCE’s musical mastermind and idea-man. He was born and raised in Baltimore and Towson, Maryland. He went to film school at the School of Visual Arts in 2002.
