About Nikos Pourpourakis
Nikos Pourpourakis/Nick Dakis was born in Greece, on the island of Oinousses which is off the coast of Chios. He came to the United States in the 1950's. He plays the bouzouki. He orchestrated, directed and played on over 45 songs on the label Kalos Diskos. His composition entitled O SOULTANOS is an original piece he composed. He has traveled all over the United States and settled in California in1980. He is still active today.
