Nicolas Chartoire is a French singer-songwriter singing in english that has been in several bands (see below) before starting a solo carreer in 2008. While his first two albums where still quite properly produced although already very low fi, with his third album Xonot Babkat he turned to a very noisy, almost unhearable sound for many songs. While Xonot Babkat was still unfinished, Nicolas adding more songs as they got recorded, he published a fourth free album
