Nick Volpe and the Impossible Dream is a college-formed band consisting of Nick Volpe (Vocals and Guitar), Cliff Goggins (Harmonica), Chris "Dego" Grasso (Saxophone), Kevin McCreary (Bass), and Jason Aloisio (Drums). Their unique blend of instruments leads to an even more unique sound. Their first, self titled, single, The Impossible Dream, would best be classified as blues, but blends elements of rock, funk, and jazz as well. Grasso's dirty, jazzy sax sound provides a perfect compliment to Volpe's rough vocal styling.
