New Threads (stylized as new threads) is a rock band in Boston, Massachusetts, consisting of Jacob Keplinger, Justin Siegel, and James Siegel. The band self-released their first album Death in the Afternoon on March 24, 2017, after it was recorded by the band in guitarist Jacob Keplinger's dorm room. After a year of shows and promotion, the band released their self-titled second LP NEW THREADS via Pink Hat Records on May 11, 2018, which was driven by the album's successful singles Alcohol and California Bound.
