About Nepantla
Nepantla was a technical metal-hardcore band from Brattleboro, VT featuring Ben, Mark and Scott. Lots of time signature and tempo changes, dissonant chords and interesting mathematics. The song "Tied To The Course" ends with a musical interpretation of the Fibonacci Sequence and the song "Code" begins with Morse code. Nepantla's four song EP was released on Benjamin Zeman Records in 2009. The bands name means "the space between" and has significant meaning to both the style of music and the philosophy of the band members.
