About Nekkid Country
Country/ Americana band based in central Virginia, writing and playing catchy, down to earth songs about life and love. Influenced by many country artists from George Jones to Shooter Jennings, the band started in 2008 as an attempt to bring original country music back to Richmond. Donnie, the lead singer and guitarist, has written the majority of the songs for the band, including nine on the first album, as well as cowriting the remaining two with Joe, the rhythm guitarist.
