About Native Land
Native Land was an indie folk duo from Lincoln, Illinois, United States, composed of husband and wife duo Matthew Hobler and Jess Von Strantz. Employing a unique blend of Americana sensibilities, with spooky '80s synths and beats; the act wields a sound unlike any other in their saturated arm of the music scene — both foreign and familiar at once. 2017 saw the release of the self-titled EP Native Land, the group's first release, and Hobler's first recorded output since Mayhew the Traitor's 2008 album Deathwish.
