
About Naoyuki Honzawa
Naoyuki Honzawa was born in Nasu-shiobara city of Tochigi prefecture, Japan in 1971. He now lives in Kaisei-cho of Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. After graduating from Tohoku University School of Engineering, he moved to the United States to attend the Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Jazz composition, and graduated at the top of the honor list in 1997. He studied Composition under Greg Hopkins, and Jazz Vibes under Dave Samuels. He is a winner of the Charles Mingus Award.
