Nandita Yasmin is mostly known as an upcoming singer of Rabindra Sangeet for her accuracy and unique style of singing. Nandita ventured into the realm of Rabindra Sangeet by late Moshad Ali at the age of five after which she commenced her formal training in the genre in 1983 at Sangeet Bhaban, led by music maestro Kalim Sharafi. She had the opportunity to be trained under Bangladeshi musical luminaries like Sadi Mohammad, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, Late Aminur Rahman Nijhu and Mridul Kanti Chakrabarti.
