
Namur is David Ahlén, a Swedish fellow with a taste for reverb, distortion and sweetly sung lyrics. Taking note of the obvious influences here (My Bloody Valentine, Ulrich Schnauss, M83, Slowdive), the albums also pillages a large amount of its sound from the guitar noise-pop of Khonnor or even Fennesz – and its a strategy that works wonders. The most obvious stylistic reference would be Khonnor’s ‘Handwriting’ album, which had pop and experimental fans in tearful union – yet Namur also has something for the Radiohead
