About Naafi Sandwich
Naafi Sandwich was a post-punk/dub trio from Earlstown, Merseyside, UK, consisting of Brenda Kenny (a.k.a. Brenda Ray, Polly Rithm, Brenda and The BeachBalls, Brenda Beachball Ray), Gerry Kenny (a.k.a. Sir Freddie Viadukt, Freddie Viaduct, The Minister of Noise) and Captain Catchpole (a.k.a. Captain Catcher). They released a 7” Slice 1/Slice 2 on Absurd Records in 1979, as Naafi Sandwich. This single was re-released under the name The Naffis in 1982 on Relentless Records.
