Once a Rock n' Roll powerhouse, the epic My Gay Uncle has fallen on trying times. Most widely known for their renditions of pop cover songs, MGU first stole the heart of a nation on MTV’s Ultimate Cover Band Contest. Sadly, unqualified and incompetent celebrity judge Eve was not a fan of the boy’s style, and the contest was lost. From one disappointment came a new hope, the raw and aspirant 2000 EP release of Drama. This selection of original compositions cemented MGU’s ascent into Rock n’ Roll greatness.
