About My Cat Drinks Tap Water
My Cat Drinks Tap Water (MCDTW or My Cat) was a group from Townsville, QLD, notable for their noisy dance hardcore sound, often described as "Foals on steroids". The band was started in very late 2007 by founders and childhood friends, Jake McPherson and Kyle Setch. McPherson and Setch would spend their weekends jamming together in Setch's basement and making it very clear to each other it was just jamming and they weren't actually a band. For the best part of 2008 the lineup in MCDTW was very loose
