Murley Shertz is a Chicago-based Blues-Rock-Jam band consisting of multi-instrumental talents Ryan Curtis (Vocals/Guitar), Dave Wilson (Vocals/Drums), Scott Burdsall (Tenor Sax/Vocals/Guitar), and Travis Hall (Bass). Influenced by bands such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Beatles, Umphrey's McGee, Paul Simon, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Coffin, Soulive, Frank Catalano, The Police, and Jeff Buckley , the band brings their unique sound wherever they go. What started as a 2005 summer break project between local musicians attending University of Iowa
