About Multi-Story
MULTI-STORY formed in 1981 in Southeast Wales amidst the new wave of British progressive rock. Rob Wilsher (keyboards) and Paul Ford (vocals/guitar) had worked together previously in the late 70's cabaret-type band Dolphin. They fell out of touch after that band dissolved, but later met up again in 1981 in a multi-story car park (hence the name one would imagine). They decided to work together and began writing songs which would appear on a 5-song cassette tape.
