Mouthful of Grass (formed in 2007) are a four-piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland, consisting of Jake Douglas (guitar, vocals, slide), Jamie Hogg (bass, backing vocals) Alex Hesse (guitar, backing vocals) and Sam Barnfather (percussion, drums, djembi, Big Bertha, backing vocals). There music has been described as "the ultimate Blues-Funk Odyessy carefully coloured in rich Psychedelia" and they are quickly gaining a name for themselves on the Edinburgh scene.
