About Mournphagy
mournphagy was formed in 1996. started to compose its first songs and released them in demo tapes entitled Thy Word Abideth in 1997. the demo then re-released by US label, noise-squatch in 7" format with alternate track, 5627. the band then recorded the first official album on 1999, For You. the main idea of its song writing was more based on personal struggle rather than on social criticism. the depression during the time it was made pushed the band to separate the lyrics and the music.
