About Motel Creeps
The band formed in Hoboken, NJ in the early 2000’s under the musical vision of guitarist and Irishmen Eric Butler. His big swooping guitar sounds emitting from at least dozen effects petals is coupled by singer Greg Welch’s crooning vocal style. The rythmic backbone consists of John Vitelli’s bass and Jim Connolly's drum kit. An EP released in 2004 titled Pleasantries in the Parlor was the fist kick on indie rock’s door and garnerd favorable reviews by the blogs and indie mags.
