O Mortal Profecia foi formado originalmente em fevereiro de 1989 na cidade de Porto Feliz/SP, com proposta de fazer um Death Metal rápido e agressivo, influenciados por bandas como: Sodom, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Carcass, Destruction, Slayer, Terrorizer, Massacre, entre outras. Em 1990 sai a primeira DT "Mortal Pollution", em 1991 saiu a segunda DT "Final Insanity". Em 1993 sai a terceira DT "Escathologyc Times", esta Dt teve boa repercusão
