After a troubled time at school and inspired by the death of a friend, in 1975 she recorded her first LP, "Good Bye グットバイ". On December 25th 1983, she played her last live at Shinjuku Loft and the left music altogether in favour of being a homemaker. Later her songs were used for Koukou Kyoushi, a popular TV drama in 1993, and also in the continuation of the series, Koukou Kyoushi 2003.
