Jon Eberson eventually became a well-known musician in Norwegian jazz-rock circles. Moose Loose was one of his earliest groups, playing instrumental jazz-rock blending elements of ECM jazz and the Canterbury sound. The first album featured five compositions typified by massive keyboards, Eberson's guitar interventions and unusually loud drums. This is the work of a young ensemble attempting to figure out their own direction. Blix and Hovensjø also played on several Terje Rypdal albums during this period.
