Moonstarr is one busy cat. He's on the phone holding things down on the business end for PTR, breaking beats live on the P.A., hunkered down behind closed doors over his synths, drum machines, and samplers to bang out mind-melding beats. Citing musical influences as diverse as Underground Resistance (Detroit Techno), DJ Premier (Hip Hop), Baden Powell (Bossa Nova), Zakhir Hussein (Indian Classical) and Sun Ra (Jazz), Moonstarr's sound has continuously evolved with releases on such noteworthy labels as Sonar Kollectiv
