About Mocun
mocun was established in 2005, Budapest. it started as a classic trio formation (drums, bass, wurlitzer piano) and later the current lineup was born when violins joined. we are fond of the nordic melancholism as well as various vibrations of vintage prog rock stuff. our music shows all our influences, however our sound is quite different from what is usual nowadays. we play instrumental, balancing between progressive and post rock styles. late 2006 a raw first demo was recorded in our rehearsal room.
