In 2012 is Mitch Josten begonnen met optreden als Singer-Songwriter en heet onderandere het voorprogramma morgen verzorgen van de band BloYaTop. De muziek die Mitch Josten maakt klinkt alsof het rechtstreeks uit de modderige moerassen van Mississippi komt. Mitch wordt geinspireerd onder andere John Mayer, Triggerfinger, Dan Auerbach, Buddy Guy en Waylon Jennings.Op 8 Juni 2013 is de EP van Mitch Josten genaamd “Unvisited Places” gereleased.
