About Misty Dixon
Misty Dixon was the brainchild of ex-Kill Laura and solo artist Jane Weaver. Combining Weaver's Rob Gretton-endorsed talents with those of Anna Greenwood, (vocals, piano, keys) Sam Yates (vocals, bass, gtr, keys) and the late Dave Tyack (drums, melodica violin), Misty Dixon produced dreamy psych-pop, including inventive covers of Prince (The Beautiful Ones) and Dolly Parton (Love is Like a Butterfly). The band released several singles, but only one album, Iced To Mode, 2003.
