About Mista A
1. John Alvarado (Mista A) began his recording career with Brad Raker in a partnership called M-Five. This super duo had a string of chart topping successes including the legendary 'Lift Me Up'. More recently, they have done a slew of remix work and are producing new artists on their label Decibel Recordings. John went on to receive his doctorate in education (EdD), and is currently pursuing a doctorate of medicine. By night he is one of South Florida's biggest DJs and you can find him spinning at every high profile club including Space
