
Minyeshu Kifle was born in the city of Dire-Dawa, the most influential city of Harare- Ethiopia’s eastern province. She started singing and dancing at in the National Theatre of Ethiopia which is located at the capital city (Addis Ababa). Currently, she lives in the Netherlands. With the accompaniment of the band Chewata, thus far she made two albums: 'Meba' (2002), and Dire Dawa (2008). In her works, she reflected the musical diversity of Ethiopia.
