About Mineral King
After finishing college in 2020 and being locked down in LA, guitarist Aiden Scott and vocalist Kasey Klar, long time musical partners, decided to start a new project that they could really sink their teeth into. Gathering a team of old friends and new, the band gained Joonas Cohen on bass and Marcus Sanchez on drums, and Mineral King was off to the races. Blending modern influences like Delta Sleep, Pinegrove, and Coheed and Cambria with older groups like Rush and The Police
