
Mark Ruester first began writing his own music at his mother's piano at age 4. Born in mid-western region of the United States in Iowa near the Mississippi river, his family relocated to the Chicago area while; he was still a young child. By age 14 Mark took up electric bass guitar and began performing a wide variety of music from Rock to Jazz to Musicals. At college Mark studied music composition and computer science with the dream of someday becoming an award-wining composer.
