About Mika Newton
Mika Newton (Мика Ньютон), born Oksana Stefanivna Grytsay (Ukrainian: Окса́на Стефа́нівна Грица́й) on 5 March 1986, Burshtyn, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian singer who represents Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with "Angel". Newton has been singing since the age of nine. Her music and her choice of clothes and accessories are strongly influenced by punk and gothic styles. She has been linked to the Canadian singer/songwriter Avril Lavigne.
