Miguel Monjiu Panzano, also known as Monchiu, (Huesca? 1648? - Segorbe, March 28 1684) was a Spanish composer and chapel teacher. The first news of Monjiu that is from February 15, 1658, when he enters as a child in the music choir of the Cathedral of Valencia from Huesca. He would remain as an infant "2 years, 9 months and 15 days" under the teaching of Gracián Babán. He remained in the Cathedral of Valencia until 1664, while occupying the position of acolyte of the Cathedral from 1661.
