About Midnight Fortress
The roots of Midnight Fortress reach back to 2021, when the first songs were written as heavy-metal ideas that no longer fit the increasingly extreme direction of Okrütnik. Instead, they became the foundation of a new project Midnight Fortress. The cover art, created by Sandra Kubacka, was also completed that same year. The band formed naturally: first Michał, met after an Okrütnik show in 2020, then Borys, after our collaborative covers of Holy Wars and Breaking the Law.
