About Michael Olenchenko
Russian guitarist, composer & arranger. Began to play guitar at the age of ten, graduated Gnesins' Academy of Music (classic guitar class). Later continued his education as jazz guitarist in State Academy of Music named after Maimonide. Traditional classic education was reflected in his work, filled with freedom and improvisation, combined with the precision and rigor of the classical school. The repertoire consists of musician's own compositions, arrangements of jazz standards, folk songs, and works of world classics.
