born 15.4.1951 in bamberg (germany) lives in the netherlands since 1973 1973-'75 studied electronic music at the institute of sonology in utrecht (teachers: g. koenig, w. kaegi and o. laske). 1976-'82 studied composition at the royal conservatory in the hague (peter schat, konrad boehmer, louis andriessen) and at the conservatory in amsterdam (ton de leeuw). 1974-'75 grant deutscher akademischer austauschdienst (daad) 1976-'98 director of the cem studios (research and development of and lecturing on electronic music)
